Style Boulevard
The Pakistan Fashion Design Council (PFDC) offered the stately pleasures of high fashion to Karachiites by launching its outlet, The Boulevard, at the fourth level of Park Towers on September 10. In line with the concept of an open house fashion gallery, 12 cutting edge designers present their sumptuous apparel to the public all under one roof. Hot haute couture labels, from HSY to Karma, and Libas to Maria B., are all housed in this premier store.
The event took off with a short fashion show – led by models Iraj and Fauzia – showing off two outfits by each of the featured designers. The enthusiasm of the attendees was apparent as they continued piling in until 11 p.m. Khaadi’s Shamoon Sultan, Naila Bhatti, CEO of PFDC, and Shafaq Habib, who is expected to launch her jewellery at the outlet soon, were also present. This high-end gallery is a must-visit for any fashion aficionado and will surely keep drawing customers and designers alike.
