“Shaan was most unprofessional. He went off to do an ad for a diaper company, giving me the excuse that his mother was ill!” says Reema, when talking about the filming of her latest movie.
“Maybe a venue like the Olympics compliments my work, where the obvious rosy picture of perfection exists superficially,” says contemporary miniaturist Tazeen Qayyum.

Sanam Chaudhri is one of the new designers who showcased her collection at Karachi Fashion Week. She hopes to bring a new attitude to the industry: “Fashion designers often create stuff that’s only suitable for the runways.”
